The Sopemea group is expanding the capacities of its lightning generator direct effects , the LG200k, now capable of generating all the waveforms, and of chaining them. From 200 kA for a few hundred µs of form A to 400 A for 500 ms of form C.
All external equipment of an aircraft or any military system can therefore be qualified by lightning in the Sopemea laboratory in Toulouse. Thanks to the LG200k, it is also possible to measure the direct effects of lightning on any structural element: metal or composite panels, aircraft windows, etc. Designers of equipment concerned by lightning risk can carry out their tests in the Sopemea Toulouse laboratory located at:
1 rond-point du Général Eisenhower – 31100 Toulouse in France
